Sahara is a Non-GMO, open-pollinated yellow maize variety with medium maturity and strong yield potential. It is drought-tolerant with high nitrogen-use efficiency and produces large, uniform kernels suitable for food use. Sahara offers resistance to grey leaf spot, maize streak virus, and Turcicum leaf blight, performing reliably in rainfed, dry or wet mid-altitude, and lowland ecologies.
